Hand painted skateboard; an imagined clash between an old sign painting style and graffiti.
This board is decorated with metal leaf and turquoise, red and green enamel paints. The colour of the metal leaf is achieved with amber flamboyant varnish and the lettering flashes when it catches the light.
I have a copy of this board which I will never sell :-) I just love the chaotic energy of the design so much.
Drying times included, the whole board represents about two week's worth of work.
